| Bret C. Keast, AICP serves as President of the firm having assumed ownership and succeeding Lane H. Kendig upon his retirement. Bret’s practice includes 20 years of experience with a Council of Governments and Metropolitan Planning Organization, a rapidly growing suburban municipality, and an international multi-disciplinary firm. He has consulted with both small and large jurisdictions in a variety of settings across the U.S., led interdisciplinary consultant teams, and both authored and managed projects ranging from comprehensive plans to zoning and land development regulations, small area and corridor design studies, parks and open space master plans, transit and transportation studies, site planning and land development, and numerous special studies.
Mr. Keast is known for his communicative skills and approach to public facilitation, translating technical planning terms and innovative concepts into plain English for laypersons and citizen planners. He has been consistently recognized by his peers with multiple award citations for outstanding plans and projects. His clients and other consultants know him as a diligent manager and an effective communicator. Bret has managed projects and independent studies in Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wyoming, and Dubai, United Arab Emerites (UAE).
