| Naina Magon brings 8 years of professional planning experience in consulting at the city, county, and regional levels. Her areas of expertise include comprehensive and land use planning, transportation planning, demographic forecasting, socioeconomic analyses, parks planning, and GIS applications. Naina has worked on over 15 comprehensive/land use plans for communities throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana. She has served as a task leader/key planner on numerous projects and has worked with communities of varying sizes in developing viable land use plans. Her background and experience in both land use and transportation planning allows her to place a strong emphasis on land use/transportation coordination in all her planning efforts.
In addition to her work on urban planning projects, she has been involved in preparing long-range transportation plans for several cities and MPOs in Texas and Oklahoma. Other areas of expertise include preparing demographic forecasts used as inputs into area travel demand models and GIS mapping and data analysis. Naina has prepared demographic forecasts for all levels of government including cities, counties, and regions, primarily for their use in transportation development and modeling.
