Greg Flisram, AICP has over 14 years of planning and economic development experience spanning the public, private, and non-profit sectors. His career has crossed a broad spectrum of urban planning and economic development work throughout the U.S. His practice has included, among others, development of regional economic positioning initiatives, district marketing and promotional strategies, neighborhood and corridor plans, and structuring of public-private partnerships. He also has extensive experience in the development and implementation of urban design and historic preservation projects where he has prepared numerous downtown redevelopment plans and urban design guidelines for urban and suburban clients.

Greg believes that the true measure of a plan is the extent to which it is implemented. He approaches all projects from a perspective of moving from paper plans to on-the-ground projects. This philospohy has manifested itself with a multitude of projects where he has paired big visions with creative and pragmatic implementation programs. His skill as a ‘doer’ as well as a ‘thinker’ has resulted in several long-standing project management roles long after the original plan was completed.

Greg holds degrees in economics and urban planning, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), the American Planning Association (APA), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a frequent contributor to national trade publications such as Planning magazine and Urban Land.
