KKC was hired to develop an update of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, entitled “Blueprint for Tomorrow.” Plan recommendations aim to continue the City’s sound planning policies while enhancing the character, integrity, and sustainability of their projected future growth. Blueprint for Tomorrow is a vital link among other highly coordinated studies. Complementary plans were developed concurrently, including the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and a first-ever Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. The project included an extensive citizen engagement program, which attracted over 200 residents to a community symposium.
