Together, the firm’s principals and senior associates have facilitated comprehensive planning programs and zoning, subdivision, or land development codes for more than 100 communities, respectively, throughout the U.S.; for small villages, mid-sized towns, suburban cities, metropolitan areas, and both rural and urbanizing counties. As a national practice, we are accustomed to “getting up to speed” quickly regarding local issues and practices. We do this by immersing ourselves in the community, which involves facilitating stakeholder interviews, having technical discussions with members of staff, meeting with elected and appointed officials, and investigating the minutes of meetings regarding development review, variances, and past and recent ordinance amendments.
